Personal Development Centre & Advisory has several volunteer opportunities. Opportunities include being a mentor to PD-CA clients/members, being a volunteer wellbeing counselor, performing artists, assistance with training, office work, special events and more.
- Mentoring & Wellbeing Counseling – If you have experience in operating a wellness business or expertise in an area of organisation, you are invited to share it with our clients/members. You can be matched with an organisation needing your expertise or provide general wellbeing assistance to a case load adjustable to your availability to serve.
- Training – PD-CA hosts several wellbeing-trainings, workshops & conferences a year. You may volunteer to be a speaker at one of those sessions pertaining to your area of expertise. Topics that speakers are needed are in wellbeing management (physical, mental, social, emotional, spiritual, & even financial), biomedical, naturopathy and all integrated healthcare solutions.
- Performing Artists – “Talent Heroes” play a valuable role in the success of celebrations and festival events, and we’re always looking to welcome new volunteers with a passion for the arts and music. Join our amazing volunteer team and help the next generation of Performing Artists in the PD-CA community – in the areas of dance, speech & drama, vocal and instrumental.
- Office Assistance – Volunteer opportunities are available to assist in our office. This may be general office help. Or, it may be to gain experience in assisting businesses, if that is your interest.
- Special Events – When PD-CA has special events, “Handy Heroes” are available to assist. These may include festivals, celebrations, fundraising events, conferences, workshops, seminars, and recognition affairs, etc.
- Internship Opportunities
PD-CA is a social enterprise, has worked to build communities by supporting the wellbeing management system and Psychological Health & Safety of Australia through ISO 45003 & wellness organisations.
